APPLICATION FORM FOR THE COLCHESTER WINTER FAIR 29th NOVEMBER 2009

Colchester’s famous Winter Fair is on the High Street which is closed to traffic for the occasion. It is an outside event.

The Fair will be open from 7.00 am for traders to set up. Trading starts at 11am. Trading finishes at 5pm.
Covered market stalls may be available but in short supply, if you need one you will need to contact us as soon as possible. They cost an additional £15. There will be tables for hire at £7.50 per table; again we need to know well in advance if you need a table.
Electricity will be provided at an additional cost of £10 if you need it but please let us know when booking so that we can put you within a connected zone. Please note if you have a generator you would be well advised to bring it with you.

TARIFF for the day
£50 per 3mx3m trading space (providing your own cover and electricity if required). Additional £10 for electricity if we provide for you. Additional £15 for a covered stall if we provide for you.

IPSWICH FOOD AND DRINK FESTIVAL 2010 MAY 22nd-23rd CHRISTCHURCH PARK, IPSWICH

Marquee space and outside pitches available. There will be tables for hire at £7.50 per table; again we need to know well in advance if you need a table. Electricity will be provided at an additional cost of £10 if you need it but please let us know in advance so that we can put you within a connected zone. Please note if you have a generator it must be diesel.

CHRISTMAS 2009 EVENTS FROM QUINNTESSENTIAL AND SNAKE IN THE GRASS LTD

COLCHESTER WINTER STREET FAIR, 29th NOVEMBER

ON COLCHESTER’S HIGH STREET SHUT OFF TO TRAFFIC FOR ONLY THIS ONE DAY OF THE YEAR!

This is a very well established Fair which has a great deal of backing from local media. LAST YEAR THE EVENT ATTRACTED OVER 12,000 PEOPLE. The Fair had become a local favourite and this year it will host the CHRISTMAS LIGHTS SWITCH ON for the High Street.
All types of stallholders welcome. We recommend that you do not delay in applying as these spaces go very quickly.

COLCHESTER WINTER FAIR 23rd – 29th NOVEMBER

AT LAST WE HAVE GOT A SKATING RINK AND PERMISSION TO PUT IT IN OUR BEAUTIFUL CASTLE PARK RIGHT NEAR THE MAIN GATE.

The location is important because it is at one end of Colchester’s High Street and is yards from the main shopping centres. A real plum of a location! It is a week long event culminating in the Street Fair and an evening of celebration, music and fun.
We are looking for six or seven food and drink traders and a couple of Christmas present type stalls. We are dressing the whole event in a Dickensian theme and any traders will have to able to produce a stall to a very high standard. We are looking at the option of putting in some ‘chalet’ wood stalls. The town of Colchester and we are investing a great deal of money in promoting and producing this event. This Fair will give stall holders a very happy Christmas and the prices for the stalls will reflect this.

QUINNTESSENTIAL AND SNAKE IN THE GRASS LTD, SPRING AND SUMMER FOOD AND DRINK FESTIVALS FOR 2010

IPSWICH FOOD AND DRINK FESTIVAL, CHRISTCHURCH PARK. MAY 22nd-23rd.

This event was new in 2009. Despite being let down by our advertisers and a couple of glitches with banner space this event was beautifully set out in lovely surroundings. We have now sorted out the glitches with Ipswich Borough Council and we have made a great start on the publicity. We expect Ipswich to start to reach the same numbers as Colchester in 2010. We have free parking for the Sunday to boost the footfalls. The event is supported by local newspapers and local radio in 2010 and by Ipswich Borough Council through their extensive publications.

The Festival is housed in Food Halls under canvass and also with outside pitches for those who prefer to use their own equipment. Overnight camping for traders available.
The Festival has a professional demonstration kitchen which can showcase your product. Christchurch Park is in the centre of Ipswich adjacent to the main shopping areas.

COLCHESTER FOOD AND DRINK FESTIVAL, CASTLE PARK. JUNE 26th -27th

Colchester Festival is booming and now has a national as well as regional recognition. This year saw over 20,000 customers enjoying a wonderful festival. This event is hugely successful whatever the weather. The Festival is housed in Food Halls under canvass and also with outside pitches for those who prefer to use their own equipment. The Festival has a professional demonstration kitchen which can showcase your product. Overnight camping for traders is available.

Castle Park is in the town centre adjacent to the main shopping areas. The Festival also hosts the Colchester Rose Festival which attracts thousands of gardeners and BBC Essex broadcasts their version of Gardeners Question Time at this event.

MELFORD HALL FOOD AND DRINK FESTIVAL, LONG MELFORD, SUFFOLK. 24th-25th July

We are very proud to announce this new event which takes place on a Tudor lawn with a well preserved Tudor Hall as the back drop. The estate is in the hands of the National Trust and receives many visitors per day in its own right. This will be a nationally advertised event via the National Trust and our selves. The Festival is housed in Food Halls under canvass and also with outside pitches for those who prefer to use their own equipment.

We can even offer overnight camping for customers and traders alike. Long Melford is amongst some of the most affluent towns and villages in the country.
The Festival has a professional demonstration kitchen which can showcase your product.
Based on existing visitor figures we expect at least 5,000 visitors with high spending power per day.
